Motorcycle license
Start your exciting journey on two wheels now. Our experienced driving instructors will accompany you safely and competently on the way to your driving license!
- Minimum age 15 years
- This allows you to drive a single-track, single-seat motor vehicle with a maximum engine capacity of 50ccm and a maximum speed of 25km/h BbH.
Training includes: - 6 double hours of theory lessons
- 90 minutes of driving training
- Theoretical test at the TÜV
- Minimum age 15 years
- Mopeds with max. 50ccm cubic capacity and BbH of max. 45 km/h and max. 4 kw
- As well as three- and four-wheeled motor vehicles with max. 2 seats
- Minimum age 16 years
- Light motorcycles with max. 125 ccm and 11 kw
- Ratio power/weight max. 0,1 kw/kg
- Three-wheeled vehicles with more than 45 km/h and max. 15 kw like e.g. Ape or Elenator
- AM will be granted
- Advancement after 2 years with practical examination to A”.
- Minimum age 18 years
- Two-wheeled vehicles with max. 35 kw
- Ratio power/weight max. 0,2 kw/kg
- AM and A1 are issued as well
- Advancement to A after 2 years with practical test
- Minimum age 24 years or previous possession A2 at least 2 years.
- Two-wheeled vehicles without any restriction
- AM, A1 and A2 are also issued

- Motor vehicles up to 3500 kg zGM
- Also with trailer up to 750 kg zGM or combination whose zGM does not exceed 3500 kg.
- Minimum age 18 or 17 years for BF17
- AM and L are also issued
- Combinations of motor vehicle up to 3500 kg zGM and trailer 3500 kg zGM
- Minimum age 18 or 17 years for BF17
- Previous possession B, but can be done in a training course with B
- Includes only practical training and examination
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age 25 years
- 5 years in possession of the driving license class B
What can be driven:
- Light motorcycles up to max. 125ccm and max. 11 kw
- Ratio power/weight max. 01 kw/kg
- No test necessary
Scope of training:
- 4 double hours of motorcycle-specific theory lessons
- At least 5 double hours of practical driving training
Important: - Attention applies only within Germany
- No A1 is issued but only key number B196 therefore no advancement possible
- Possible from 01.04.2021
- Basically the same as for class B. However, during training, at least 10 driving hours are spent on a vehicle with a gearshift until your driving instructor determines that you can drive a manual vehicle.
- You can take the rest of the training and your practical test on an automatic vehicle.
- You will receive the key number B197!

Truck Driver Licence

- Minimum age 18 years
- This is what you are allowed to drive with the C1 driver’s license: Motor vehicles up to 7500 kg zGM
- Also with trailer up to 750 kg zGM
- Training: Theoretical and practical training
- Time limit: All “truck classes” are issued for 5 years only
- Examinations: Despite B driving license, a theory test and a practical test must be taken again for class C1.
- What you are allowed to drive with the C1E driver’s license: Class C1 motor vehicles with a trailer over 750 kg. Permissible total weight of the combination is 12,000 kg
- Class BE is included
- Training: practical training only
- Exams: Class C1E driver’s license does not require a separate theory test, only a practical test.
- Minimum age 21 years
- This is what you are allowed to drive with the C driving license: Motor vehicles over 3500 kg zGM
- Also with trailer up to 750 kg zGM
- Class C1 is included
- Training: Theoretical and practical training
- Time limit: All “truck classes” are issued for 5 years only
- Examinations: Despite B driving license, a theory test and a practical test must be taken again for class C.
- This is what you are allowed to drive with the CE driver’s license: Class C motor vehicles with a trailer over 750 kg
- Classes BE, C1E and T are also included
- Training: Theoretical and practical training
- Exams: For class CE, a theory test and a practical test must be taken again.
Bus Driver Licence

- Minimum age: 24 years (18 years for professional driver training).
- entitled to drive a bus in which more than 8 persons can be transported and a trailer up to a maximum permissible mass of 750 kg

- authorized to drive a bus of class D1 with a trailer over a maximum permissible mass of 750 kg
- previous possession of classes B and D1 necessary
- included classes: BE
minimum age: 21 years (18 years for professional driver training)
authorized to drive motor vehicles that are max. 8 meters long and in which 8 to 16 persons can be transported (plus driver)
trailers may be towed up to a maximum permissible mass of 750 kg

ASF-Advanced seminar
Participation in an advanced training seminar for novice drivers is mandatory if a category A traffic offense or at least two category B traffic offenses are committed during the probationary period.
- 4 theory sessions of 135 minutes each
